The Players Championship practice rounds came to an end May 8 as country star Dierks Bentley entertained hundreds. After words from Mayor Alvin Brown, PGA Tour Commissioner Tim Finchem and Fred Funk, Bentley continued the Military Appreciation Day spirit by reiterating mayor's remarks that Jacksonville is "the best Navy town in the nation." Playing old hits such as "What Was I Thinking" and "Settle for a Slow Down," Bentley performance seemed to please the crowd.
