Hip-hop and folk-influenced reggae band SOJA credits Bob Marley's "Survival" for inspiring their "Strength to Survive" album. Hard to question survival skills of a band formed by childhood friends Jacob Hemphill and Bobby Lee Jefferson that's still going strong. SOJA – short for Soldiers of Jah Army – brings the truth with support from John Brown's Body and The Movement. Doors open 7 p.m. July 24 at Mavericks at the Landing, 2 Independent Drive, Downtown, $25, 356-1110,
