Jacksonville, FL – The NeighborhoodScouts.com analysis report states that Jacksonville’s violent crime rate is one of the highest in the nation across communities of all sizes. These crimes include arm robbery, forcible rape, aggravated assault, murder, and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. According to the NeighborhoodScouts.com analysis of FBI reports, the chance of becoming a victim of one of these crimes in Jacksonville is one in 157. JACKSONVILLE, IT IS TIME TO STOP THE TALK AND TAKE ACTION!!!!!

St. Paul M. B. Church of Jacksonville, Dr. John E. Guns, Community Partners and Save Our Sons Summit invite you to join us in a life changing event. The Save Our Sons (SOS) vision is designed to impact young men ages 10 to 18, along with helping parents learn techniques and strategies to encourage and help their sons. According to the Florida Department of Law Enforcement, the male juvenile arrest total for Duval and surrounding counties in 2011 was 3,851 and for the state of Florida the total was 65,159. SOS will serve as a means of prevention along with inspiring our sons to commit to a life of self respect, respect for others, vision, goals, and success.

On May 18, 2013, St. Paul M. B. Church of Jacksonville, Dr. John E. Guns, Community Partners and Save Our Sons will bring together the community plus political, educational, religious, attorney, and judicial leaders who will share their experiences, struggles, defeats, and victories along with sharing how the legal system operates. As a concerned father of two boys, Mayor Brown sees the importance of Save Our Sons and will be in attendance. This event is going to be a day Jacksonville will never forget as over 1,000 young men from Duval and surrounding counties come together to better themselves along with providing parenting sessions. Please consider this invitation in efforts to transform lives and secure our sons future.
