LEO (July 23-Aug. 22): Grimm’s Fairy Tales collection includes the story “The Devil and His Grandmother.” In one scene, the devil’s grandmother is patting and rubbing her grandson’s head — at least that’s what English translations have. But the authors wrote in German, and in the original version, Grandma is in fact plucking lice from the devil’s hair. Your job next week is to ensure no one sanitizes earthy details like that.
