Meet us at the Jacksonville Zoo and Gardens to learn the basics of zoo design. From creating dynamic exhibition spaces to factors such as terrain, plant hardiness and toxicity, visual presentation and visitor needs, you'll discover the intricacies of architecture, planning, construction and management of habitat design. You must be at least 16 years of age and be ready to do a lot of walking since you'll be working in remote areas of the zoo. Be sure to wear sturdy shoes, bring water, a hat and sunscreen. The exploration begins in the Education Building in the Auditorium at the zoo.

Please visit www.fscj.edu/continuing-education/personal-enrichment to register and pay or call 904-357-8910.
