1 p.m. - 5 p.m.

Join us as at the Beaches Branch Library as we share the culture of India without leaving the library. The program is hosted by library employee Padma Subramanian, who was born and raised in India. With Jacksonville’s growing Indian population and the growing interest in Indian food and culture by so many people, the program will make for an interesting and educational event. Other Indian guests will participate in the program. The program is free and open to the public.

1 p.m. – Sample Indian cuisine

1:30 – 1:45 p.m. – Bollywood dance performance

2 – 2:30 p.m. – Henna body painting

2:30 – 3p.m. – Dress up in traditional saris (photos can be texted or emailed to you)

3 – 5 p.m. – Showing of the new Bollywood movie ENGLISH VINGLISH
