DOWNTOWN THROWDOWN

The first Throwdown promises live music and entertainment at many popular Downtown venues. Athens' psychedelic pop band King of Prussia (pictured) rules Burro Bar with support from Dr. Sirbrother. The OC Band rocks Mark’s, and acoustic musician Chad Jasmine is at Kala. Mr. Al Pete, The IGive and Professor Kilmure control the flow at TSI, and DJ Hackmanjax runs the show at Burrito Gallery. Other musicians and DJs are set to throw down at 1904 Music Hall, LIT and Underbelly. 6 p.m.-2 a.m. March 21 at The Elbow, the entertainment district around Ocean and Bay streets, Downtown, free, bit.ly/DowntownThrowdown.
