Located in the heart of downtown Jacksonville, Burro Bar is a One Spark 2014 venue and local music spot for people looking to channel their inner hipsters and listen to live music.
Burro Bar is a classic downtown dive-bar with a smoky atmosphere that features 20 beer taps unique to their location, as well as craft beer from around the nation.
“We have so much going on that week, I just can’t even get started,” said co-owner Ian Ranne. “Constantly people in and out all week and it’s just a complete mad house.”
As a venue in last years One Spark, the choice was clear when deciding to be a venue in One Spark 2014.
“We are part of the elbow, we do a lot of the punk and metal shows, a lot of the underground music like punk and metal and that’s our niche,” Ranne said.
Since the opening of Burro Bar just three years ago, the five co-owners are ready for One Spark 2014 to takeoff. Within walking distance from the Jacksonville Landing it’s surrounded by easily accessible parking.
They’re looking forward to the event both for the excitement and the business it generates.
“It’s one of the busiest weeks of the year,” Ranne said.
