Authority Zero and Ballyhoo

Posted:

More than 250 people came out to see Authority Zero and Ballyhoo rock Freebird Live July 10.

Local Jacksonville Beach talent Danka came out playing an all original set to open things up and get the crowd prepared for the night to come.

Versus the World kept the crowd going into the night with their upbeat Santa Barbara punk music to increase the build up for Ballyhoo.

Ballyhoo came on to a roar from the audience as they went straight into their set. Playing songs from their new album such as “Last Night,” they introduced those who had not heard the latest songs in style, while keeping their die-hard fans happy with old hits.

It all led to Authority Zero taking the stage to an eruption from the crowd. Led by the last remaining original member of Authority, Jason Devore, the band kept the audience jumping throughout the night.

Breaking out songs from their new album “Tipping Point,” to playing old hits such as “Over Seasons” and “One and More Minute,” the Mesa, Ariz., band had something for everyone.
